From industrial capability to technical trust
Between 2006 and 2015, aerospace certifications and EASA approvals marked a new stage in Industrial Neotex’s development as an aerospace industry supplier.”
Following a period of industrial expansion and the achievement of JAA production approval in 2004, the next challenge was to strengthen the technical and regulatory framework supporting that growth.
During these years, EASA POA, MOA, DOA and ADOA became key milestones in the company’s technical development.
More than administrative achievements, they reflected an evolution in how Industrial Neotex operated: greater process control, traceability, clearly defined responsibilities and the capability to work within aviation regulatory frameworks.
2006: EASA Production Organisation Approval — POA
In 2006, Industrial Neotex achieved EASA Production Organisation Approval — POA.
This approval recognises an organisation’s capability to manufacture aerospace components within the framework established by EASA Part 21.
For Neotex, it consolidated the path that had begun with JAA production approval in 2004 and further embedded aerospace compliance into its manufacturing processes.
Quality was no longer simply a characteristic of the finished product. It became an integral part of the industrial system.
2009: EASA Maintenance Organisation Approval — MOA
Three years later, Industrial Neotex achieved EASA Maintenance Organisation Approval — MOA, applicable to maintenance organisations operating under Part-145.
This capability extended the company’s scope across the lifecycle of cabin components and added another dimension to its involvement with customers and aviation programmes.
Production and maintenance could now operate within an increasingly integrated structure.
2011: EASA Design Organisation Approval — DOA
In 2011, Industrial Neotex added Design Organisation Approval — DOA to its capabilities.
Aerospace design requires specific procedures, competencies, resources and responsibilities to demonstrate compliance with applicable requirements.
Adding design capability represented another step in Neotex’s evolution from manufacturing textile solutions towards broader involvement in the development of certified aircraft interior components and textile solutions.
2015: ADOA
This period concluded in 2015 with ADOA — Alternative Procedures to Design Organisation Approval appearing as another milestone in Industrial Neotex’s approval history.
ADOA relates to alternative design procedures established within the Part 21 framework and forms part of the company’s regulatory development during this period.
Aerospace certifications and compliance as part of industrial capability
Between 2006 and 2015, Industrial Neotex progressively developed a framework in which manufacturing, maintenance and design were supported by regulated processes and defined responsibilities.
This aerospace certification framework helped embed regulatory compliance into Neotex’s industrial processes.
Their value lies in embedding traceability, document control, defined procedures and technical accountability into everyday operations.
Today, this development is reflected in Industrial Neotex’s current certification and approval framework, which includes EASA Part 21G POA, Part 21J DOA and Part-145 MOA, alongside other aerospace standards and customer approvals.
Building a foundation of technical trust
Technical trust in the aerospace industry is built through consistent demonstration of capability and regulatory compliance.
The approvals achieved during this stage provided a regulatory foundation for taking on broader responsibilities and supported the continued development of Industrial Neotex’s industrial capabilities.
